Do the houses know everything about us the day we walk in? Could someone please explain how this works? Sorry if it's been explained before!

It's different with every house, but we typically already know a lot about you. Most of us have committees whose sole jobs are to look up information about pnms and compile it all together. If we're interested, we'll try to find out more about you, but we normally know everything we need to know from the start.

Yes! So don't be surprised if you are a business major and the 1st girl who picks you up at the door is also one, or if you danced in high school and the girls rushing you talk about the opportunities to dance in their sorority. Or if you went to a certain camp and they mention other girls in the house who went there, too.

Houses that are interested in you will know everything about you to make sure you feel like you're connecting with the girls in the house.

If they're REALLY interested in you, don't be surprised if other girls are calling you by name as you walk through/in/out of the house. They've probably seen your picture on a rush crush poster or slideshow. BUT- remember that even if you're the "rush crush" of some older girls from your high school, it takes more than just 5-10 girls in a chapter of 200+ actives to pull you through to bid day. So just because your hometown friends are making you known before rush, it does NOT mean you're guaranteed a bid if there are posters of you or if lots of girls seem to know who you are.
