I didn't decide to rush until around May so I did not go to any spring parties but since I have registered for rush I have been getting numerous friend requests from different people that attend Alabama. Is this usually done by different sororities? I know none of these girls yet and they are coming from a lot of them. I just wondered..............

I have not received tons .......around 6. They are already students I clicked on their name and checked them out before accepting . I just thought it might be different sororities checking me out. In a previous thread giving access to facebook was talked about. I thought maybe that's what it was. all profiles told me what sororities they were in. 4 different ones. but other than a friend request they have not talked to me.

Girls in 4 different sororities have contacted you during no contact period? I also find that a little hard to believe. Are you sure that they sent they request after May 1? Maybe you haven't gotten on Facebook since before then? Idk but they all know they aren't supposed to be doing that....If you are 100% positive that they friend requested you after May 1, then definitely report them!

Make sure you know if they are in a sorority or not before you report them, though. It could be other incoming freshmen or non-sorority students, which is fine. But if sorority actives have friend requested you after May 1st, then you need to report them, because it is completely against the rules for them to be doing that.

it's just okay for girls to dirty rush and get away with it? It's a tough situation and I wouldn't know what to do if I were in it either because you'd have to give yourself away in the process, but if those girls are dirty rushing then they should have to pay for it.

Yeah right. As much as I love my sorority sisters, I would hope my sorority sisters would get turned in. Everyone else is playing by the rules, what makes them think they can get away with it? They're representing their sorority horribly, and I think any member would agree with that.

I think the problem was I forgot to make my facebook public. It is now and sorry I could never 'tattle on anyone especially someone who has never talked to me. They have done nothing wrong as far as I can see. I surely would not want to hurt anyone. Even though one the sororities dropped my sister when she went through. I never understood........ oh well it's over anyway .
