What are you going to do if the answer is yes, dump him?

And no, he will not hurt your chances. But I hope for your own good that if the answer were 'yes', then you would either not rush or rush with your head held high, being proud of the person you love.

So there is 1 yes and 1 no. I just wanna know before I waste time and money. Of course I won't rush If it would kill my changes. we've been together for 4 years and he's way more important that rushing but I still wanna do it so bad. More than anything almost. I just wanna know if that will hurt me cause I know how the south is, being from the south myself.

I would say to go for it. You might know who the bigots are by who drops you. I feel like this really would not hurt your chances as a whole, though...at least it wouldn't for my sorority. If you want it bad, then by all means, do it.

The South is often a really screwed up place. As I said earlier, hold your head high and fight for the equality that Alabama still does not have.

should definitely still rush if you want it so badly! You will not be cut by every single house for that. You will find girls who won't judge you for that!

Girl I had a boyfriend (half black like yours lol) during rush too. You don't need to talk about it with the girls, they aren't supposed to anyway! It really won't hurt your chances. A lot of girls in sororities have boyfriends.

Definitely rush!! I really can't imagine why a house would drop you for that! You'll be fine. There were girls in my pc who had black bfs (not even half) and it didn't affect them whatsoever.
