You will possibly get cut. Depends one who you are and who the house is.
Do you have any friends going to Bama who have gotten a rec for that house? Have you posted on your facebook and your mom's that you need a rec? Last resort / contact your city's Panhellenic and very politely ask if they can connect you to an alumna.
For some houses, an "info only" rec won't help you, but it will at least not get you cut.
