bama towns?

by: pnm19UA

I have seen some posts about different cities or towns being "Bama" or not. One even said that Birmingham is not a "Bama" town. Aside from Birmingham, what are the "Bama towns" and how does this relate to sororities and recruitment?

Baldwin County has one of the most active Alabama Alumni associations (Daphne, Spanish Fort, Fairhope, Bay Minette, etc. -- Mobile area eastern shore). For recruitment, means more legacies and more old row than new row.
