chances of re-rushing as a sophomore?
by: sophDropped rush after the 1st round last year. It was really overwhelming and I wasn't sure if it was what I wanted. Will actives look down on me for rushing last year for one round. I'm not a social climber and don't want to be perceived as one, I just wasn't ready to join a house last year. I have a 3.85 GPA and have lost 30 pounds since last year which has boosted my self-confidence enormously.

I'm rushing this year, and from what I've seen, each sorority has a freshman and underclassmen quota So that each girl has a higher chance. This means that especially since you didn't drop after being bidded, you definitely have a chance. Plus the worst that could happen is that you find again that it was too overwhelming or that it isn't for you, but you will still probably meet amazing girls and make some friends in the process! And don't listen to anY of the stupid people, cuz it's great that you feel more confident! That's what people should lose weight for- not to be skinnier or more popular, but to be happy with yourself.
