pageant girls

I have noticed on social media (like the UA19 FB page) that there are a lot of very pretty PNMs that are very obviously pageant girls. Are there some houses that really like pageant girls in particular, or sort of shun them? Looks like ZTA, Phi Mu and A Phi have a fair amount of those types. Just wondering because I don't do pageants and think pageant girls are annoying.

There is no house that would just die to have ALL the pageant girls! If the PNM (who just happens to be in pageants) has good connections, grades, personality, and recs then any house would want her - regardless of the fact that she does pageants. It is a plus though, just like playing soccer or being a cheerleader or being in student government is a plus. Pageant girls are involved, just like girls who play sports. No house says "okay get all the recs for the girls who do pageants and put them in one pile. These girls will go at the top of our list after every round and they better all be on our final bid list". No house wants a girl SOLELY because she does pageants. Her participating in pageants is just another piece of the puzzle. It's another thing about her. Just like playing the flute, or playing basketball, may be another piece of the puzzle for you, and another thing about you.
