rush

If you don't get a bid at rush are you allowed to go through recruitment the next semester? Or even the next year? Or is it like a one time thing?

You don't get one at all you can do COB if any house does it, Spring rush, or formal rush the next year. If you get one and decline it or drop you have to wait until the next year

To elaborate on what OP asked, is "cut once, cut always" a thing here?

If this is what you mean, but if you're asking if the same houses will definitely cut you the next year, no. Some will obviously, but they'll have another year of grades to consider, or you might've lost (or gained) weight/dyed hair/changed style, or the sorority's needs for that pledge class might be different than the last year (wanting more dancers, or top grades, or girls with xyz credentials). It all depends
