by: interestedSo I am a sophomore and am super interested in Chi O. Since I arrived as a freshman I was drawn to their sisterhood. I have a fair amount of friends that are happy with their experience but I'm pretty worried about what it'll be like this year with the trouble they've gotten into. Can I have a {somewhat} honest answer for if they're in trouble and what that means for the chapter?

I just think it'll be like walking on egg shells all year. Standards will be held extremely high (which can be a good thing) but I'm sure it'd be a lot of pressure. National reps will always be there making sure the chapter doesn't slip up, and I'm sure it is still going to be hard for exec to trust the chapter with many events.
I'm sure those girls are lying to you though when they say they've been happy with their experience. About 50+ girls have dropped throughout the year. Many members are miserable.
If you're not one that likes being told what to do and when to do it and how to do it, this house isn't right for you. Because their rules will be incredibly strict all year long.
