How hard will it be rushing from the northeast? I know someone in tri delt from my town! Will that help?

Connections always help! Being from the north really doesn't have a huge affect on rush. There are some houses that are big on taking girls they know and usually they're southern girls. You'll be fine though don't stress! Look your best so you feel your best, just be yourself, and keep an open mind and you'll be great!

I'm also from out of state, and I'm super nervous for rush. I graduated with a 4.1 GPA, had a lot of community service, and was very involved in my school....just still nervous I won't be good enough.

Might help you in Tri-Delt, if they are in the Alabama chapter, but that's all.

Girls can pretty much do well in rush even if they're not from the south. Any house is gonna want a girl who is nice, cute, and involved and they won't cut you cause of location. As far as the Tri Delt goes, if y'all are friends it should help. It all depends on your relationship. But that is a damn good house to know someone in.
