pnm's
by: An activeJust thought I'd ask this here, because no one seems to know- why is Panhellenic saying to expect over 3,500 PNMs? There weren't even that many incoming freshman girls last year...

I heard it from one of our sisters on exec, and then our bid day girls told us that Panhellenic said quota would be around 200 new girls.. I thought they were mistaken and then my roommate who's in a different sorority told me she heard the same thing. I really don't think it's plausible but I wonder why they would say it in the first place since it's so absurd. Hopefully it's either an exaggeration or a rumor because that is just too much

Honestly, I'm hoping we never have that many girls rush, and like you said, I don't think it's possible because literally every freshman girl would have to if the incoming class size stays around the same. If we did, though, I really think something would have to be done, like a minimum GPA requirement or something. If Panhellenic wants us to have a 95% bid rate there are going to be some negative repercussions.

The OP admitted herself that she didn't know if it was accurate, that was the point of the post in the first place.... Even if it does end up being a rumor it's not like it's going to affect anyone
