by: PNMI'm a PNM but I wasn't able to attend the preview day or teas or anything. How badly does that hurt my chances of getting a bid from some houses?

It shouldn't hurt you very much. Were you invited? If some houses invited you to the teas then that means you're on their radar already. If you already have connections with actives then it won't matter. If you don't have any connections at all, then it would've helped if you had been able to go so you could've gotten on their radar. But no one will cut you just because you didn't attend.
