cob??
by: ...So what exactly does COB entail and do all sororities participate in it?? I heard someone talking about it and I was a little confused... Is it basically like a recruitment for spring just not formal?

If a sorority does not meet quota (aka too many of their members drop throughout the year) they have to give bids in the spring. It's not a very good thing to have to do. Sororities that have super low retention rate have to do it, most top tier sororities do not participate in continuous open bidding.

Gotcha! so basically you're limited if you go through COB instead of formal recruitment because only those sororities that don't make quota will probably participate.. Makes sense now thanks!
