Where is zeta eating their meals? I really like their house but I'm super worried about not having a house because I know its a huge part of getting to know your sisters.

Believe it or not, there are chapters at other schools that don't have a house. They get together and eat at restaurants. They have a rich sisterhood without a building.
It's about the sisters, not the house.

Welp. That's a tad hard for broke college students. It's also a tad hard to get to know your 400 sorority sisters when you don't even have a house to hang out at :/

They must have some sort of hook up because all members pay for food on the Greek meal plan.maybe just meet in certain spots and use meal card wherever they decide to meet?

I've seen this person posting on other pages about "be grateful you even have a house because other schools don't have a house." Ummmm, pledge classes are not 30 people. Try squeezing 100 girls in a Starbucks or a private area in the Ferg to chat, laugh, and bond with. Personally, not having a house for one year wouldn't be a huge factor in my decision if I were to go through rush again, but having a house is a big deal.

Yeah all members paid for their food when they had a house... Not sure what they're doing this year, I heard that they are paying for meal plans through the school but I'm not too sure how realistic that is

This is confusing. Wonder if they will make a skit about their plan! We do need to know this information. :). Are the dues high?

Zeta does have a house, just not directly on sorority row. A place to eat, have study hours, bond, etc. It's in walking distance. Don't you worry little thing.

Well then why aren't they making that known on their social media? Are you a zeta?

Don't take my word for certainty, I'm just basing my opinion on what DG did when they didn't have a house their first year. I imagine that Zeta will be doing something similar. DG didn't have meals and there was not a meal plan included in their dues. They had chapter at the stadium and would have a meal together before chapter and that was it. These are facts--not trying to be mean to Zeta or DG.

And DG's dues were cheap--only around $1000 since they didn't have a meal plan. I'm sure if zeta doesn't have meals, they won't have everyone paying the regular expected amount.

But PNMs, if you're looking to join a house that will have the least expensive dues, don't join Zeta just because their dues will be cheaper this year. You will have to pay for a meal plan through the school. And when their house is done, you're dues will go back up to normal. If you love Zeta, then by all means, join! I just don't want people to join solely because the dues will be lower for a short time.

Very true about the cost thing-- it would actually put them at a huge risk the next year, retention would be super low and girls would drop because they wouldn't be able to afford it, therefore increasing their quota the next year and for COB. Eek that doesn't sound good at all.
But yes, point is- join because you love them, not because you love the cost, because eventually it'll come back to bite you
