gpa/act

by:

I'm from the midwest and my gpa is about a 3.3 uw. Weighted it's close to a 3.6, but i'm wondering do houses even pay attention to weighted gpa? I got a 26 on my ACT, will this help show that I have promising academic abilities? I really don't want my grades to make me get cut from certain houses. I plan on maintaining at least a 3.5 minimum in college and staying very motivated, should I let the houses know that during rush?

Your GPA and ACT are fine. Well above average. Get some good rec's and you will be good to go.

You are above the recommended and what most houses cut GPA wise, some it's a 3.3 or 3.5, but that is a select few... If they like you enough, your grades qualify. Focus on other aspects of rush like your recs, connections, outfits, etc.
