I'm going to Alabama next year and will be a freshman from out of state.. My GPA is fine (3.7) but I have a low ACT (20).. how much does this hurt my recruitment?

I got a 2000/2400 on my sat, and a 23 on my act. So does my almost perfect sat score make up for my act score? Everyone needs to chill

Almost perfect sat score?!?!? I would hope your math would be better if you got a 2000. I've always been told a 1950/28 is average. Maybe I need to remind myself that that's not the case for the down home country hicks that bama takes

Why did you come to alabama if you don't want to be surrounded by "down home country hicks"? Believe it or not, there are actually "down home country hicks" that are very smart too. Just like there are northerners (and southerners who aren't rednecks) who are smart as well. Being from one region of the country doesn't make you any less or more intelligent. Yeah there are some dumb rednecks, but there are some dumb (and annoying) northerners as well. And btw, "down home country hicks" annoy the crap out of me. And I am southern born and southern bred and I don't ever want to leave the south. Some people just take it too far. But it doesn't mean they aren't smart.

Actually the average SAT score is in the 1600-1700s or so if you actually look at the stats... or at least thats what is was when I got my most recent score report back
