legacy on pref night
by: Potential New MemberIs it true that if you are at a sorority's pref night and you are a legacy for that sorority then you are almost guaranteed a bid from them? Just wondering if that is true? One of my rec writers told me that and I thought it was interesting. What happens if you are at the pref for two or three houses and you are a legacy for more than one of them? (I'm a legacy for a few)

If you make it to a house's pref night you are technically already on their bid list; you are also ranked though. If you put a house first and they have you near the top of their list then you are matched with that house. If you put them first and they put you near the bottom, but your second choice has you at the top you'll probably be matched with your second.
