None. Why would they choose a grade risk when they can choose a non grade risk. If you dont make the grades in college either, you'll be quite miserable on social probation+additional study hours each week.

Rush is gonna be a little more difficult for you and you're gonna face some heavy cuts probably from a few houses that you really like but honestly a lot of people have below a 3.0 and get lucky or at least get a bid somewhere even if it wasn't their first choice I've witnessed it many times

WEIGHTED 2.8?
Pledge the library, for cryin' out loud.
IF you have a rec explaining why you have such a low grade, or IF you have a close friend in a house, and IF you are Miss Cabbage of Tensaw County, Georgia, then you MIGHT get a bid from a low-tier house.
But 80% of the houses will drop you on the first go-round. Your pref round will consist of ONE (1) sorority.
And you better count yourself VERY lucky get a bid from any house.

APHI, GPHI, DZ, zeta, kd. It's possible to get into a better house with a 2.8 but not likely. I would count any othee house out. The ones I listed above are the ones I know who took grade risks last year.

Depends on if you know people personally and how pretty you look and how much money you have (shallow, I know). Like someone said, if there is a legitimate reason for your 2.8, let your rec writer now! I'm in a top academic sorority now, but I had a 3.2 because my high school calculated GPA very strangely. A 4.0 meant that you got an average of 100 for all your classes, 3.5 meant you got an average of 95 for all your classes, and a 3.0 meant you had an average of 90 for all your classes. I had (almost) straight As but my numbers looked way worse compared to others, but my rec writers explained the situation well.
