alpha gam
by: PnmI kind of get the impression that alpha gamma is a forgotten about sorority on campus. How much truth is there to this?

Used to be the tip top on campus.
Not as glamorous now, but make no mistake - they are still MAJOR players.
But I have been rather surprised by some of the girls they've taken the last couple of years. Yes, the bluebloods still pledge, but so does a girl with a not so great reputation from a small town in north Alabama.

They swap with KA/ Phi gam/ DKE/ SNU and you always see them out so idk where you get the impression they are "socially over looked". Yeah they aren't as "social" (if you can call it that) as Kappa/KD but they still know how to have a good time. They get the grandma title from the group of really religious girls that don't really go out but I know a ton of alpha gams who party.Also every sorority has a group of girls who don't really like to go out so "grandma" is just a stereotype someone made up because they had nothing else bad to say about them.

i have friends in agd and they call themselves alpha grandma. and a lot of them don't drink. they're also more popular with snu/phi gam thank dke/ka.

Ummmmm I definitely wouldn't say that. They're rush is creepy, and they def don't have the greatest girls. A few are good, but the rest are super super super southern/country/small town girls who didn't get rushed by anyone but new row sororities
