Okay, I'm not sure how this got started, but let me make something clear: there is no such thing as a "cut room." Nothing in recruitment is that black and white. Let me explain:
Some house (NOT ALL DO THIS) like to separate their pnms in each round by room based on several factors. Sometimes this can be how interested the are in the pnm, and they place these special interest girls in one room because a) they want to show off the prettiest room in the house, or b) because that's where they have their best actives stationed and want to make a good impression.
Houses do not choose a pledge class based on resumes and photos alone. A girl can be beautiful and have an outstanding rec but still be a terrible fit for the house for many reasons. I'm not going to go into the voting process because it is secretive and unique to each chapter, but just because you weren't in the "top pledge" room doesn't mean you're not being given a chance.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, PNMs, stop worrying about ending up in a "cut room!" I promise you, it's not worth thinking about, and chances are it's not something you will ever experience.

That's not what it means at all!!!!! They might LOVE you during that round and then you're actually given another chance! They don't have room for every girl to be in one room, so they have to have 2.
You pnms really need to stop assuming these things and go through rush not worried about the system!

No that meant that they didn't know me coming into rush and had other girls they already knew. Obviously the girls who I talked to liked me enough to invite me back.
