involvement
by: PnmI don't really care about tiers but I don't want to be in a sorority that people forget is even on campus. What are the most/least involved sororities?

Someone else will say houses so I won't, but I just want to say that even if you do end up in a less involved house, that doesn't define you as a person. You can still be involved in as many orgs and societies and volunteer ops as you want even if some of your sisters aren't.

It depends on what type of involvement you're interested in. All of the houses are extremely involved as far as time management is concerned, and some are known for being very involved in certain areas:
Academics: AXO, XO, and AGD had the highest average gpas last fall and are all known to place heavy emphasis on their schoolwork as a part of the sisterhood. Not to say that they aren't incredibly involved in other areas as well, this just seems to be a focus for them.
Philanthropy: DDD is renowned nationwide for their involvement in raising money for St. Jude and have a reputation for being very service oriented on campus. DG is also known for their charity event Anchor Splash with the frats which raises money for their foundation. Again, not to say they aren't concerned with other things too, but these chapters are known for philanthropic involvement.
Social: Every single chapter on campus has a wonderful social aspect, but the ones known for having fun at parties are KKG, APhi, KD, Phi Mu, and ZTA. As always, not to say they don't have great philanthropies and academically inclined sisters, this is a general feel of these houses.
There are some other sororities as well with very involved sisterhoods and are still very relevant on campus, I just don't think of them as part of these groups in particular in my mind.
