worth the risk??

So In my state it is common (almost encouraged) for the pnm's to go out whenever they are at orientation, whether it is a frat party or just going down town, we are supposed to go out. In Alabama do girls look down on the girls that go out during their orientation? what could be the possible consequences?

Not being Greek would be the most likely consequence

There are no frat parties over the summer, and you will be too busy with orientation to even think about "going out" anyplace. Actives and pnms are in a no contact period until bid day, and trying to meet them around town wouldn't be good for you. Just wait until August.

Just wait until bid day. You have bid day, your first date party, your first swap, pledge parties, and greekfest all to look forward to within a weeks span.

Exactly what this poster said. Once rush is all said and done, the opening two weeks of school you'll be bombarded with parties, most big and a few small. Have fun then and get wild, it is a great way to start the year.

If you go to a party, DON'T DRINK alcohol.
There will probably be sorority women there, and they'll know what you do. They have friends in other sororities, and word will spread FAST if you misbehave.
