what are the chances you get picked up through COB, I might not be able to go through formal recruitment

COB is tricky because not all chapters participate, and it can be difficult to get a bid unless you have friends in the sorority. I would personally recommend waiting to rush in the fall as a sophomore over trying for COB because formal recruitment is such a rewarding experience to be a part of, and houses have a separate quota for upperclassman so your chances would be better.

If you mean in the fall after recruitment, your chances are very slim if not at all. The chance is a little higher in the spring but still very slim. Your best bet is formal recruitment.

To none. The chapters are huge, so unless total is raised after rush, no sorority will have any spots to fill.
