In-house legacies are girls who are going through recruitment who have a sister who is currently an active in a sorority at Alabama. Chapter legacies are girls who are going through recruitment who have a sister, mom, etc. who was in a sorority at Alabama in the past, but has since graduated. Other legacies would be girls who are going through recruitment who have a sister, mom, etc. who was/is in a sorority at another school.
