philanthropy

I was looking up some of the philanthropies for some sororities and realized I have been apart of some of them. I've done volunteer work with Make a Wish, Children's Miracle Network, St. Jude, etc.

I have no connections and I am transferring from out of state.
Will this help me or do girls only care about connections?

It's great and really helpful that you've already had philanthropy work, because you can share your experiences! However, all three of those are philanthropies of very competitive sororities, so just keep that in mind.

It's a long shot to get a bid from them but I am strong believer that anything can happen. I think it will even look good for other sororities bc I have done so much volunteer work.
