philanthropy day

I have a question about the shorts were supposed to wear on Philanthropy Day ( I know it sounds stupid) . But on the Greek Chic it says dont wear shorts that are to casual. Would a pair of lilly shorts or like vineyard vines shorts be considered to casual ?

I'm rushing and I was just planning on wearing j crew shorts or something like that! I think Lilly or VIneyard Vines would be fine! I think they just mean shorts that aren't distressed or denim or anything like that!

No denim and no athletic shorts

I just wore J-crew shorts and a pair of lace shorts the second day. They just mean don't wear high waisted denim shorts or anything like that.
