transferring membership

I'm from the state of Alabama but for my freshman year of college I went out of state, and joined DKE at my college. After two semesters I've decided that the school I'm at is too small, and other things about it I just don't like. Being from Alabama I've thought about transferring to U of A. With DKE being the way it is at Alabama, would they accept a transfer? Or if I did transfer would it just be better to not be involved in Greek life.

Maybe if the small school you were at was Yale or something.
