legacies

Do houses really want legacies or is it something they just tolerate? Does legacy status even matter for getting a bid? I heard it only helps you not get cut first day. Maybe it depends on old or new row?

It only helps you don't get cut day 1. They don't HAVE to take a legacy at all. If they like you, great, they'll keep you around. If not, they'll cut you after ohilanthropy.

They do want legacies, but mostly the ones they'd want anyway.
But getting a large percentage of legacies is celebrated by their national HQs.
It's also a coup to get a big legacy to another chapter.
