Okay so I have gotten admitted to the University of Alabama and I really want to join a sorority. A girl from the same town as me went here and rushed. According to her story she didn't get into any of the "Top Tier" sororities because she wasn't from the South. I guess I am just wondering if being from california is a disadvantage? Also I am half hispanic and white. Will that be a disadvantage as well since I know Alabama has had racism issues in Greek Life recently?
