by: JuniorI transferred to UA this year as a sophomore and didn't rush. I was apart of a fraternity when I was a freshmen at my other school and miss being apart of it. I haven't had the best time being a GDI here at UA. Are there fraternities that bid juniors here? At my old school it was just called grandpa pledging and there was nothing wrong with it as long as you were cool with taking orders from younger guys but does it happen here?

Not necessarily. It's just harder to meet people being a transfer GDI. You should be fine as a freshman.
