tea invites

What if a spring tea invite doesn't have a RSVP and I can't go? Do I do nothing or should I send a thank you note to the recruitment chair explaining why I wasn't present and thanking them for extending the invite? Sorry I'm new to this

No. Rush chairs honestly don't have time for that nor will they write it down or remember in the fall
