Everybody except freshmen are eligible, and freshmen are required to live in the dorms.
Depends on the sorority.
Some houses have a point system based on grades and participation. Most require you to live in at least 1 year unless there are too many wanting to live in every year. Some officers, such as president, treasurer, standards board, house manager, are required to live in.
