Can somebody explain the meal plan thing to me? Does the sorority meal plan effect the regular freshman student meal plan or how does that work?

You automatically get put on the Greek 55 which is a meal plan with 55 meal swipes instead of the regular freshman unlimited. This is because you will have all your meals at your sorority house except for the weekends.

Is it required to switch to Greek 55? Is it more expensive than the regular freshman plan?

The Greek 55 is like $450 a semester while the regular unlimited freshman meal plan is around $1600. You can do less meals than 55 for cheaper too.
