Tiers, you are correct. A one, two, three order is ridiculous. Using the tier method, I come up with:
1. AXO, KKG, XO
2. Pi Phi, DDD, AOPi, KD, DZ
3. AGD, ADPi, ZTA
4. Phi Mu, Theta, GPB
And to answer Frat's question, Zeta has recently pledged some pretty hot girls. Because of the Old Row/New Row thing, my frat hasn't swapped with them- but I can tell you they party when I seem them other places. That DOESN'T make them top tier, buddy.

The term Old Row used to refer to the elite sororities at UA but it no longer has that meaning although some of the old timers might still look at it that way. Since we are at UA let me use a football analogy to explain. Back in the day there were traditional football powers like Notre Dame, Michigan, Southern Cal etc. Well now some like So. Cal are still good but many of those programs like Notre Dame and Michigan have declined and are not even in the top 25. The traditional powers have been passed up by teams like Georgia, LSU and god forbid Florida all of which have been traditionally good but nothing like they are today. At UA the Old Row thing works the same way. Many of the Old Row fraternities and sororities tried to rely on their mythical status to stay on top and some have slipped into mediocrity while many ?New Row? sororities have moved into the elite spots.
I hope that helps answer your question newbie.

To answer your question, for a long time nobody ranked Alpha Phi because they did not have a pledge class and there was really nothing to rank them on. But then someone ranked them all 5s which put them at the top of the rankings. That obviously made know since so if you read the Alpha Phi comments I think people are ranking them low just until they see how things play out. I think you would have to agree at this point they do not deserve to be ranked above any of the other sororities. With that said I heard Alpha Phi is having a great recruitment and in a few months who knows maybe they will have some legitimate rankings.
