sorority comments

You all act like there is an official listing of "Top Six" in the university register. This is so stupid. My friend tells me University of Texas is just as bad. What was hot 40 years ago may or may not be hot now. Nothing against the Old Row-lots of nice girls and good houses theres. It is not enough that some of the new sororities are coming on strong and doing well. THAT should earn more respect...not some unspecified time period of paying their dues before WHOEVER declares them the TOP SIX.

Wide spread thought is Old Row no longer has any bearing on sorority rankings. There are to many good non-old row and to many average old row.

Beckham may have a point about a few Old Row sororities who have become average but AXO is still tops.

Obviously some folks are trying to cause trouble between Gamma Phi and Aphi. Probably because they are doing so well. This site is so hurtful. I wish they would take it down. I seriously doubt half of the posts are made by Greeks and then only half of those are truthful about what they say and which group they are a member of. It is all about causing a stink. All Alabama sororities have somthing terrific to offer.

Something to offer? My ass.

fellas -- you can do better then girls who only want to use you. Maybe get someone with a body AND a face instead of these girls who have one or the other, and hope tanning and acting ungodly stupid disguises it.

ladies = you can do better then guys who wanna join frats. They don't want you to see what they're like without the greek system there to give them things to do. Why do you think they start rushing a month before school starts? Even the baddest guy on Earth can't impress you away from these hee-haws when he has no time to even talk to you.

Here's more reasons to rush --
1. Every girl you get will start trying to bait you into a fight, leaving you the daunting task of letting her know you'd never be with her if you just rushed. It's what she figures too.
2. Every other girl you get with, when you got out with them and leave them to decide where to go, will take you to a place where her ex is.
3. It's got to be emasculating when you're a guy to see girls playing you the way guys want to play chicks. You might be too great for the greek system, but if that happens, get the HELL out of college.
4. Scottie Pippen is the GDI athlete. Long ago he was happy to see himself offered 2 million dollars and wouldn't listen to people who told him he was being lowballed. And thus, many years later as he proved his greatness, people still thought they could dog him and disrespect him. Why? Because he wasn't making the kind of money or had the kind of status that screamed "respect me". That's what it is to be GDI at UA.

so in summation, college is stupid. Now who's up for tennis?
