and seriously, I mean...I love the aka. They have one little thing that used to get to me but it's not too bad: while during pledgeships some girls are made to dress up and sing on buses or in libraries, when I was at UA, in the dorms, AKA pledges would show up out of the blue at 3 A.M. in two carloads, do a song and dance, then get back in their cars and speed off. But I think the idea of a black sorority or fraternity is beautiful...true, blacks are as different from each other as white people and thus when you have a single house for all of them it shows a deep lack of understanding about them, but it happens at every college, Alabama's not to blame for that. It's a start. Love to all.

PNM's, when coming through recruitment please come with an open mind. Please disregard these rankings. I know fabulous women from each and every sorority on campus, and I can honestly say that every sorority is great and successful. There is no such thing as bottom tier or top tier. The reason why our greek system is so successful is because each and every sorority is great and each sorority works together to make our greek system great. We give back to the community by attending each other?s philanthropy events, and we even have sisterhood events with each other. This website is absolutely ridiculous and is a bad representation of our great greek system. Also, if you are out of state you have just as big of chance to get a bid as everyone else. However, whether you are a legacy, an in-state student, or an out-of- state student you need a high GPA. If you have below a 3.0 you should just wait and bring up your GPA and rush as a sophomore. The reason why many out-of-state girls do not
