Here's the real deal on Alabama sororities. Every house has something to offer. Every house has beautiful women. Every house has involved women. Every house has smart women. However, every house has some problems too. Best advice for PNMs-pick the house where you feel comfortable. Don't worry about reputations and stereotypes. These are your 4 years, so be happy!

someone drank the kool-aid. I can almost see the zombie-like sleepwalking trance and the dead eyes. Alabama's awesome. The girls and houses are terrific...but it's easy for you to say be happy. You're white.

Alabama sororities should be embarrassed, I say someone shake them up a little. It only takes one person

It's sad that you take any time to pick on sororities. I'm sorry that your life is that terrible that you have to pick on others.

just stay out of whatever job I end up getting, because if you're my supervisor, I'll make you and your horse-faced friends even worse alcoholics then you are.

i am a PNM and i found this site by accident. Its sad that the sororities do this to each other. rather than lift each other up they spend all their energy pulling each other down. Its like crabs in a sandbucket...rather than finding a way to help each other up and out...they spend all their time pulling each other down until they all die. Maybe I was wrong about wanting to go Greek

As you can see from the comments, most of the negativity comes from people who aren't in sororities. Seriously, we're not like this at all. Going Greek is a great decision that few people regret. Ignore the negativity and give it a shot! You'll never know if you don't try!
