sorority comments

I wasn't trying to be pretentious. I am from out of state and from a very small town so getting recs is a little harder. I just wanted to get an idea of how the sororities are. I definitely got an idea. Thank you to "simma down" and the other girls that followed.

You will be just fine. Don't worry about ratings etc. find the house that's right for you and that house will be the best in your eyes and and sisters. Good luck and welcome!

I went to preview weekend this past weekend, and I hope you guys aren't as mean as you are on this board. I really liked a few sororities that have a lot of negative comments. Is this a bad thing?

Don't listen to ANYTHING on this site. It's an anonymous site for cowards to write their jealousies and fears down. If you believe anything at all, believe the people who tell you not to listen to any of this b.s. :)

the negative comments are a good thing, despite what anyone tells you...because it's proof that it's not a cult and that nobody's trying to con you. How would you act if you were trying to lure people in and screw with them? You'd act...ah-hah...charming as hell.

the negative comments ARE NOT a "good thing". They show a mean spirited group of clueless women. Everyone should read the book PLEDGED and you would get a good feel for what occurs at the University of Alabama sorority level. The fact that someone thinks this is "good" just shows a middle school girl mentality. Welcome to 2012.
