PNMs these are not guys posting, these are girls of competing sororities that are on this website with the sole purpose of knocking each other down. Some sororities love to really knock and pick on a sorority that is their competition. It happens every year around this time during rush. It is quite sad that there is so much hatred between sororities during rush. Ignore what the bitter sororities write on this site and chose the sorority that best fits you and your personality. Greek Life is great at Alabama despite what horrible comments you read on this board. All of the sororities are wonderful at Alabama. Roll Tide and hope that everyone has a Great Rush!!! PS There are some sororities that get picked on more than others every year....chalk it up to jealousy.

after preference parties, what happens if more than 1 bid is available to a pnm. how is only 1 selected? does the pnm do it or the sororities?

They both do. If you go to 3 preference parties, you rank them in the order you like them. The sororities do the same thing. Hopefully it all matches up, but even if you get your second or your third choice, it will be the one for you! The sororities know better who will work the best for them and you. Be happy!
