Actually, it's true. They're not completely objective. Here's the info from the greek life website: "The Greek Excellence Awards Program recognizes those chapters that excel in all areas of chapter management and operations. The awards program is based on a chapter self-assessment that measurers performance in the following areas: Leadership Development, Scholarship, Chapter Operations, Philanthropy and Service, and Risk Management and Values. Please note that the Greek Excellence program is NOT a chapter ranking system. It is a recognition program that awards those chapters based on the percentage of points they achieve on the Greek Excellence application."
They even say not to use it as a ranking system. Good try.

This is what Greek Excellence measures. If you find these to be valid qualities by which to judge a sorority then Greek Excellence Awards are a great criteria.

While those are great qualities, they are a self-assessment. Maybe you missed that term. It was right before the stuff you copied and pasted. Here's the thing about a self-assessment: People aren't always honest! Many times people believe things are better than they are. For example, scholarship is one of the criterion; however, 2 of the three lowest GPAs got gold? Um, no.

Why? Because it isn't a lie? A lot of the gold winners really s t r e t c h e d the truth if not outright lied. Some of the lower houses were truthful. I'm actually in an upper house and I didn't work on filling out the assessment. But I know how our house stacks up and see that we frosted over some not so good things.
