I see all this banter about one sorority being good and another being bad but what is this based on? What are the top 3 things on which you determine rankings? For example lets take a ADPi and Pi Phi. How would you rank one of those over the other. Or how do you know who is better between XO and Zeta? Is it grades, awards, number of campus leaders etc.

How about tradition: If you have been on campus at least 50 years that has to count for something, anything more than that though and you really have diminishing value. I would also say the number of instate girls you take has to be considered. Not that instate girls are better than out of state, they are the same but what it tells you is your over all reputation. Another words if you take over 50% in state that shows the local girls consider you good.

I believe you should follow your heart. If you felt a connection with the girls in a particular house whether they have been on campus 50 years, old row, new row, middle or bottom tier then that is what you should do. All of the houses at Bama have good and bad things about them. The most important thing is you are happy where you are.

Go With Your Heart - you could not have said it any better. Note to add to that comment. Do not put much weight on comments made where the sororities are ranked. Majority of the statements are NOT true. It is simply people being rude to one another. Bama has a terrific greek system. All of our houses are good.
