I know a girl who has at least 3 recs to every house... She even has 5 to phi mu and chi omega! Is this going to help her out a lot more than others even though she has no connection to anybody at alabama?

Recs are great but after a few (like three or four) they kind of stop making a difference. Keep in mind that even if you get recs there's no guarantee, even girls who have two or three to every house get cut sometimes. (Just a general thing to remember for all PNMs not just you)

ALSO real life connections will always be better than Rex's, although you do need recs.

That many recs just seems desperate and the actives will definitely notice. They want someone dedicated to the sorority, but not someone crazy obsessed with it.

Yeah, five recs is overkill, especially if they're from non-UA alumnae.
