The recruitment team chooses. Of course "attractive" girls go up front, but there are other variables. In my house, the room we take you to matters, so we are lined up in our door song with easiest access to the line we have to jump in immediately after to be on the side of the girl opposite of the room we are taking her to, if that makes sense. It also matters because the recruitment team is always up front, the juniors are next, and sophomores are behind thm.

Some houses have PNM's separated by rooms or couches/furniture based on how hard you're being rushed. It's usually pretty obvious. If your rusher is really awkward or unattractive or you notice the other PNM's in your room are not cute, consider yourself cut past the point of return. This also works in reverse obviously.

Then again, in some houses that isnt the case at all so don't try to figure it out because if you just assume you're cut, you'll no longer be trying to make a good impression and we will notice. In some houses it only matters after a certain round. In some houses they only separate legacies and you'd have no idea. So keep being open minded.
