i'm from Oklahoma and I don't know anyone from Alabama will this hurt me during rush?

no because chances are you'll meet people during rush and even in classes

If you're from Oklahoma, you probably know SOMEBODY with Alabama relatives...not that it matters. You don't have to know anybody at or from Alabama. We have so many OOSers it doesn't matter anymore. Quit worrying.

I'm from GA and didn't even know anyone at Alabama, and I had a great rush. Don't sweat it too much; you'll make friends fast.
