by: TransferIf I am transferring from California as a sophomore with a 3.5 GPA, do I have much of a chance? I have heard rush is really hard especially if you aren't from the south with connections. Any advice? Thanks!

HOW many times do we have to repeat it?
U of Alabama is 60+% out of state....and probably 40% from out of the South.
However....we do have a way of finding out about you.
So keep your rep and Facebook clean. You're an upperclassman with a excellent GPA. You have a good chance.
Be nice to everybody and don't talk mean about the South.

Yes, to what she said! And there are lots of California girls here. I am oos and only knew one person at Bama when I went thru rush and only got cut from one house the entire week. But it was still nerve-wracking!
