They have gone down because the take so many legacies. KD is def above DDD. They all cut pretty heavy with the exception of GPhi. Not trying to be nasty about GPhi but they always have the largest pledge class. It's true about old row houses taking girls that some new row houses wouldn't take and that def has to do with being a legacy. Esp if you are from Alabama.

KD has been forced to offer lots snap bids each year for the last few. I think as people decide they don't want to be in a house where it is just like high school, the new row houses offer that option. More diversity. Tri Delt is very similar. Lots of legacies and lots of high school "groups". Still excellent houses, but as alabama out of state population grows, so does the desire for diversity. The new row houses aren't necassarily better looking. Just different looking than houses like DKE.

Both old row and new row have cliques and are "high school" If one group takes Mtn Brook/Mobile/Montgomery and the other takes Vestavia/Hoover/Spain Park the members will still tend to "clique up" with those that they know. No difference other than where they are from when they come to Bama.
KD may be snap bidding because "blue bloods" are all after the same girls and quota is so high these last few years. Several other groups are snap bidding these past few years for the same reason. KD tends to get called out for snap bidding when SEVERAL of the other houses have also had to snap bid. The best defense is offense so they are quick to point at KD.

Seems like prettier girls are in new row sororities, also as it seems there are cuter guys in new row fraternities. Not saying old row has none but idk just my opinion.
