how early should i rush?

I'm a senior in high school right now. If I want to get in to a mid to top tier fraternity, how early should I contact the fraternity and how early should I start rushing?

If you haven't already sent emails and letters everywhere, it's too late. DKE and SAE have already given all their bids for 2015, and the rest will follow suit.

You could go ahead and email old row rush chairs to talk about Sophomore rush I think

I rushed old row and new row. Went to some DKE rush parties starting in January but even then they have their class basically picked out. Contacted the fraternity I ended up pledging in early March and metup with them a couple times that spring. Youre in good shape.

You have to began rushing at least at the beginning of summer to get into a middle-upper tier house.
