Hey guys I was just wondering about what an "old row" pledgeship is like and if y'all could give me an idea of it's something I really want to do. I'm a legacy and have a bid to what I understand is a good house, but I'm not sure if it's something that I'm committed enough to if it's as tough as some of y'all say.

Phi Gamma Delta. My dad was one and he wants me to, but I don't want to get hazed. Will I be good there? I've heard they make you drink too, but I'm not really much of a drinker and would honestly rather just smoke weed haha

If you're scared about hazing, maybe old row pledgeship just isn't for you. As far as the drinking goes, I know Phi Gam offers dry pledgeship so that doesn't have to be an issue

Idk if this is a troll post or not but for anyone on here who is genuinely concerned about pledging I would say send it. Just make sure you set some ground rules for yourself, like specific lines you won’t cross.

The worst that can happen is they try to force you to do something past your limit. At that point you can decide if it’s worth it or refuse and drop knowing it’s not for you
