oos fraternity rush
by: OOSWhat is rush like for an OOS guy who isn't able to just drive to tuscaloosa for summer events? Would that really hinder my chances at a lot of houses or could I still be alright with making a good impression in fall rush? And when is fall rush? Also, do a lot of fraternities really care if you're not from the south and don't know anybody at Bama? (I'm from the western region of the Midwest.)

Just try to make a good impression during the informal rush week at the beginning of school and keep an open mind. Don't listen to a lot of the stuff you read on here. Most of the Old Row fraternities care about where you are from, but for the most part, New Row has guys from all over.
