HOT TAKE: Greek Life is just a pyramid scheme

Honestly I’ve realized Greek Life is very much a pyramid scheme. They drain us of a lot of money, piggyback off all our hours and hard work, and most of the hard work is just recruiting new people to keep the cycle going. Which means we all have to put on a front like we’re enjoying ourselves and super sisterly to each other just because so we can come off as “the best.” Sure, you can make friends and there’s some events, but the same goes for those shilling Amway or Herbalife. I’m surprised this isn’t mentioned more especially with the churn rates in every sorority. Are people ashamed to admit they didn’t enjoy their experience out of fear of being seen as an outcast?
